Today I got a cup of coffee for my boss - the man who has everything...except someone to buy him a cup of coffee. He said, "Thanks, dear," like we were an old married couple. We have been working together for 10 years, so I guess we do kind of have a somewhat crotchety familiarity with each other. It comes with time. It's oddly comforting.
I also ordered Vegetable Gardening for Dummies for my coworker who expressed an interest in having a garden this spring. She had a lot of questions, so I thought she'd like this. Even though I don't have it in my possession yet, the intention was still today.
For me, I did a quick ride on my exercise bike tonight (only 15 minutes, but it was a very long day and I have to start somewhere, right?), and got myself a CD and a book on amazon. Also got a few steps closer to my sleep study. Now I just have to confirm that my insurance will cover it (crossing fingers) and book it. I am really excited to have some answers.
Thought we all could use something green (except you spoiled brats in warm climates! :-P) This is a picture of one of my clematis blooms after it went to seed. It will be green and lush and warm again, my friends!
Sorry to short, but I'm just not feeling very bloggy today. I know, me of all people, right?! Crazy! Hope you all had a good Monday. Sweet dreams!

Thank you. Dawn put me out of my misery only a short while ago today. I'm embarrassed i didn't see the icon myself, but realize that sometimes the harder I work at something, the more complicated I make it. Thanks.

Krystyn - if you are seeing the same thing I'm seeing, there are a few formatting links above the blog posting area. The one that looks like a light blue polaroid is to upload pics. If you want to upload a pic in a comment, you click the little icon that looks like a camera. Voila! :-)

Kimmzie, it was only for 15 minutes, which was pretty pathetic... But I will work my way up to respectable again. :-)
Girl, we have a relationship like that. It's interesting, because it's not really a friendship, definitely not romantic, not strictly professional - but still close and well-oiled. :-) It's cool. And you're welcome for the green! I needed it, too! :-)

I worked in Dentistry for 30 years and one Dr. that I had worked with for 8-9 years (he died suddenly @ 45) and I were "oddly comfortable" with each other. I was his only assistant so we worked side by side all day every day. We developed this almost "comedic routine" with each other while working on people's mouths.....good times! I have no idea why I told you all that except that your comment about your boss made me remember......PS: thanks for the green!
