Another Day 29 already - wow, these go fast! This was a good 29th: I left a toonie ($2 coin) on top of a pay phone, gave another to a busker, reorganized and put some new files on the old iPhone I loaned my neighbour back in Round 1, I think (!), and I made a conscious effort to give a friend some support. If I weren't so tired, I'd write these out in more detail. And I'd look more at what I learned this round. I think I re-discovered some of the joy/expansion I felt in the earlier rounds. The Freecycle thing didn't hold up for all 29 days, but I gave quite a bit that way.
One of the reasons I wanted to do a "Freecycle" round was to clear some space (more metaphorically than literally) for things to come into my life. My living room is unfurnished (I never use it, so I haven't made it a priority, but after three years, it's still bare). This morning, around the corner, I saw a chair with a "free" sign on it. It's an old, Victorian-style straightback with wooden legs - a perfect fit for my place, and also (in its own shabby way), a colour match to the paint in the living room (which I've always wanted to get redone, but also have never made a priority). So I think that's kind of cool. Usually the furniture that's left on the street here is in pretty bad shape, but I know (by sight) the woman who put it there, and I must've found it within minutes, because it wasn't damp or anything. So... yay!
I'm not sure if I'll 'officially' start Round 7 tomorrow or wait till Monday (which is a close friend's birthday), but I'll still give something tomorrow - I just might take a break from blogging.
Hope you all had wonderful weekends! Looking forward to seeing what opportunities the next 29 days bring... Cheers!

6 rounds... and on she goes. Thanks for all the inspiration. I think it was your posts I saw when I first started that were clearly marked as another round--someone who was repeating the 29 days in another cycle--and at first I thought "Whuttt?????? Why would you keep going? Are you supposed to? Do you have to?" And now I understand. :-)
Congratulations on giving the Freecycle thing a go. I do understand also about clearing the space. I am putting some effort into decluttering this cycle (OK to buy some gifts, but let's look at what we've already bought etc) & it does feel good. Have fun with this end & the next beginning.. and with your new chair!
