Round 5: Day 12: American Red Cross Local Chapter

As I write this, I just woke up and am bracing myself to go to work.  I write "bracing myself" since the low tonight temperature-wise is 0 degrees.  The bright side is that these low temps are only here for a couple of days.  Therefore, I can and will manage.

However, in thinking of my gift today, I was thinking about those less fortunate than myself.  I can not begin to fathom as to those without homes that are out in the cold.  Therefore, the most logical thing with my schedule was to donate to the American Red Cross.  I went with the Local Chapter thinking about those in this area tonight.

Make it a great day/evening/whenever you receive this, family.  And please, stay warm!  If you're not "in the cold" like I/we are this evening, please take care of you while taking care of others regardless.

I think it's about 25 degrees below zero here in Minnesota right now.  Schools are starting late tomorrow because of the cold.

I, like you, find myself grateful for a warm home.  There are so many things I have that I all too often don't think about.  Not everyone is so fortunate.

Nice to give to the Red Cross.

when  i was visiting my family in Chicago over Thanksgiving i was struck by how many homeless people there were on the streets and wondered what they did when the temps got frigid...your gift will go a long way in helping. Hugs, Dawn XOXO

Your thoughtful gift will help many. I know how you feel, it is very very cold here too, and I also thought of those who do not have shelter. The Red Cross is a great way to give a gift!
