Round 5: Days 6, 7, 8: Song choice, phone call and Chicago Children's Charities

A LOT of catching up to do here.  So, I'll try to make this as concise as I can:

Day 6: I was asked to be a guest on a Songwriting Podcast from a singer/songwriter friend of mine.  The layout:  The guest chooses two songs to play and talk about the songwriting process behind each one.  I already knew that "Muse" made the cut (off of my last album "Better You Here Than Alone.")  However, I had a hard time choosing the second song.  I have a good friend of mine that really knows and likes my music.  We struck up a conversation via Facebook.  Then, it struck me:  "Call her up and ask as to which song she likes and/or I should feature."  She did.  She chose "Two Avenues."  If you're interested, hit me up in a private message and I'll let you know when the podcast is released (recorded it this evening.)

Day 7: I was on the phone with a very close friend.  She is a CEO of her own company and was about to speak at her very first Fortune 500 Company-based Social Media Conference.  She was very nervous since she's not a natural Public Speaker.  I was on the phone with her for a few hours.  Not sure if I helped her or not considering we didn't get off of the phone until quite late.  Still awaiting the results.  And, I don't know if this qualifies as a gift.  Is it cheating?  I don't know.  I'll leave that for you to decide, family.

Day 8:  After the recording of the aforementioned podcast, I came home to get ready for bed.  I have an EARLY start at the hotel tomorrow plus a gig.  (Yeah, they've got me working from 7am to 3pm tomorrow.  Then, a gig in Aurora at 9pm to 1am.)  So, I found this website and donated to it.  Like the concept greatly.
