i found a church who does a mission trip to Mexico around Christmas and gives the village kids a shoe box gift filled with assortment of things such as small toys and hygiene items. i pledged to do 20 boxes at the first of this year. i am buying 20 items each month and putting them aside in my closet. i bought yo-yo's, small nerf footballs, and hair do-dads today. have to remember to keep things small. last month, i bought small stuffed animals on sale after Christmas and small cars and trucks for the boys. next month, i plan to buy toothbrushes. really having fun doing this for the kids. i have to keep an idea and a list going of things to buy since i am doing this 20 items each month. if you do things in small increments, you can easily accomplish your goal.
