29-Day Giving Challenge

Service with a Smile! (Round 2 Day 9 & 10)

My family has been so sick. My Ali got a Staff Infection two days before Thanksgiving. She had Strep Throat that turned into a rash that turned into Staff. My husband caught a cold from a lady coughing behind him on the airplane home from Italy and my Sami went to the ER last night because she also has Strep Throat and is completely miserable. So you can say this weekend has been quite long! I have one calling for me, one that is crying for me (because she is throwing up) and my husband is needing cough medicine, did I mention that my dogs needed me too. I am completely worn out and I know it's not over yet. I have one child that will probably go to school tomorrow (fingers crossed), one that can't go because she is contagious and a husband who will be up all night coughing. So today, as I was providing TLC to all three of them, I asked them if I could go and get them anything. My oldest asked for a Mint Chocolate Chip Milkshake (which she threw up later), my littlest wanted french fries and my husband got a hot cup of Red Bush Tea from Starbucks. This is the first time where all three of them have been sick at the same time. All I can say is "Please Lord don't do this to me again!" Ha...

Wow, all the sickness at once. Take care of yourself too. You had a very busy giving day today.

Hang in there! A household of sick is certainly no fun. Keep up the good work and remember to try to take a few moments to yourself each day to recharge. Love and blessings!
