Share Love 4 ~ Day 6, Day 7, and Day 8

The last few days have been full from dawn to midnight. We started work on our bathroom Thursday evening, worked all day Friday, and then put in another full day yesterday. We had to replace part of a wall, the floor just beneath the toilet, and the toilet. We stripped the walls of the many layers of paint, ancient wallpaper, and glue. It seems that the previous owners never stripped anything, just layered. It took nearly 12 hours just to strip the walls. I was so thankful when that task was complete and I could paint. Now the only thing remaining is the floor. I just have to get all the old vinyl up so we can put new flooring down.

Day 6

~Mailed a card to my Grandmother.

~Was able to pick out a new toilet, paint, and flooring for our bathroom.

Day 7

~Bought lunch for a friend and his son.

~Received help replacing floor, wall, and toilet from same friend.

Day 8

~Found a way to allow children to feel like they were playing a part in remodeling the bathroom.

~Jeff made lunch today :~)
