Slow and Deliberate (Day 16 Round 3)
I purposely and deliberately slowed my pace today at work. My pace of moving, breathing, talking.....the day was great and so different. I found myself having more meaningful conversations with colleagues. One colleague obviously needed to talk and I was able to focus and really listen and respond, instead of thinking what i SHOULD be doing at that moment. I asked another colleague how a project was going. I know the importance of being a productive employee, but today I was also a listening employee, and hopefully a light in the workplace.

That is wonderful Harriet! When you start to be more present and live mindfully, you will start to notice that you will be more productive, actually, then if you are rushing about. I have found this to be very true in my life. The gift you give to another for listening to them vs. hearing them is immeasurable. Well done!
