Evening all!
I made up a few more reading shawls and have either handed them out or mailed them out. I think that brings the count up to about 30 shawls this season! Phew!
Today's delivery was to an older woman up the street who loves to read and doesn't have heat up in her reading room. She has to turn on the downstairs heat for it to come up andc heat her front room. Well, she just needed a shawl, don't you think? We had quite the snowstorm today and I walked it up to her front steps before going out for grocery shopping.
I am trying really hard not to mirror back the animosity that Tolga emits and just push back with love and understanding. Today, he came over in the morning and I was able to do my shopping without having to take Mina out in the storm. I had to go to the International Market to get some olive oil and special cheese that Mina loves. I asked tolga if he wanted anything and he said no. Well, I didn't take that as an answer and picked up some Nutella, tea crackers, and special lebaneses pickles for him to take. I also made up 2 ziplock bags of Mina's red lentil soup mix. All he had to do was add broth and a can of tomatoes. I wrote out the recipe and stuck all of it in the bag. He kept trying to find out how much he owed me for all the stuff, but it really was no big deal. He has been trying to get a reaction out of me by NOT giving me the money he promised, but I am letting the lawyers deal with that mess. I will get the money owed and it doesn't help me to fall for his bait.
I am not this horrible person he seems to think I am and I am just being who I am regardless of the situation or who the person is.
Now, time to make tea and break out my Feng Shui book! That is this weeks project!
