29-Day Giving Challenge

Today was a day where my introverted child became an extrovert. This was a difficult task for her. She always says she wishes she could be more like her sister, who is a bubbly extrovert 24/7. I told her we are who we are and we need to embrace that. That didn't go over very well, "OMG Mom!" Well anyway, I'll have to keep working on that life long lesson of loving yourself, ha.
Well, today was spirit day at school. My oldest has been voted Most Spirited every year and my youngest wanted this so bad. So, I took her shopping for some goodies. In the back of my mind, however, I had a feeling that she would think about it all night and then decide the next morning that she wouldn't be participating in something as silly as Spirit Day. Well, to my surprise she got up and her big sister was amazing with her and got her all spirited up. I guess we all need days were we can be someone we're not and have fun with it. When my daughter got home, she went straight up to her room and put on her sweats. It was now decompressing time from all those extroverted events!!
