29-Day Giving Challenge

stopped counting at day 8 but I know there have been a lot of days since!!

Since the time has flown by and I didn't have a chance to type down each gift I will type what I remember and tomorrow will be day 10. No big deal, the more gift days, the better.

Some of my gives were as follows;
More money in a salvation army bucket.
A card to my mom saying I loved her and couldn't wait to see her at Christmas.
A plane ticket to get home to see my family for Christmas this year.
Cleaning the living room for my husband's sanity.
Took mother-in-law shopping and taught her how to cook some healthy alternatives to tasty meals.
Brought mother-in-law 3 trash bags full of clothes that no longer fit me.
A large tip to a waitress.
Tips to a cleaning lady at a hotel that didn't clean.
Feebie prize day to my kids in therapy (they love going into the "treasure chest" when they haven't worked for it!
I notice my husband thinking differently lately..today he saw a homeless man and asked me if we should get him a cheeseburger from the mc donalds I said that was a great idea...we added a fry and their caramel apple pieces too. The man was so incredibly happy and wished us a merry christmas and said "may god bless you." As we drove away he began eating his hamburger.
On another side note. A letter from some Iraq troops came today thanking me for their girlie gifts! How amazing that they took the time out of their lives and everything that is going on to thank me for sending them things. I will need to think of my next mail to them!

Hope everyone had a great holiday.

Elly Rose, I love it too! I don't know if he realizes he is doing it but so far he came up with the great idea of giving about 20lbs of hamburger and hot dog meat left over from a party after our wedding to a shelter that helps abused mothers and children and then this give yesterday! He is on a roll :)

What a great list of gives. I love that you have inspired your husband to think of giving too.
