Surprise!
i was sitting at the table eating a bowl of beans when the UPS truck drove up the road. "Did you order something?" i asked my Hubby. "No...did you?" we decided it must be for one of the neighbors and went back about our business. a minute later, we heard a horn honk. it was a package for me! inside was this book: 
that's it. no note, no return address. it's a beautiful book, about a woman who makes quilts that make a cultural, spiritual, historical and political statement. to say i am blown away by this unexpected receive would be an understatement. but in the best possible way :-D
