Thanks for all the welcomes that I have received. Its been easy to give the last few days as its been Easter and I have been spending time with my friends and family. Cooking and baking and feeding everyone who has come through my door. Its really great to be able to do that. I am lucky to have a great family and friends. Its also great to know that I can give to them and tell that I appreciate them. I have been feeling blue lately and life has been a struggle. Focusing on giving to others really helps to to take the blues away and stop me dwelling too much on my problems. It also helps to make me feel as though I count in the world. Thanks taking me out of myself and helping me to focus on larger things.

hi, Sandy. i'm so glad that you had a good Easter with your friends and family. i have noticed too that the more i focus on giving, the less significant my troubles seem. part of it may be distraction, but even when i don't need distracting giving still makes me feel good. and it's fun interacting with all the new friends i've made on this site. thanks for sharing with us.
