29-Day Giving Challenge

This weekend was the last two days of my first full round of the 29 days of giving. I finished some bracelets Friday night and now need to find some kids to send them to on Post Pals. I had also initially set out to paint on Friday and did not get around to that...I did paint today! I went to my sisters. It was a girl's weekend with her and my two nieces. I wanted to be there for her right now. She needs me. We went for our first long run in our marathon training program (so much easier and faster when someone is there to run with), grunted through an upper body workout (also so much more fun with someone), rented some movies (she paid) and got some pizza (I paid) and had a nice relaxing evening. I went to my sister's with gifts for them all...
I took an easel for my neice. It had been sitting in my classroom and then in my home. I have another one and she has been interested in learning to paint. I also know she is interested in learning some divination and I have many tarot decks so I wrapped one up for her and taught her to clean her deck. I bought her a quartz crystal when I visited the local shop to find healing stones for my sister.
I brought my paints because a while ago my sister had asked me to paint a castle on my neice's bedroom wall. I sketched it last night and spent the morning (into the afternoon) painting. I included a picture!
I offered some computer updates to my mom to save her some money and managed to make it home in time for some quality time at home before another busy week of giving!
I guess I will begin round two tomorrow!
Happy Giving!
