29-Day Giving Challenge

I admit - it's been a week and I've been kind of behind. We've had snow, snow, snow and more snow! It's a week since my last blog and we started with another snow storm today. This is something that is uncommon in our part of the country (Virginia). I did, however, keep track of my gives. The kids have been out of school so life has been nuts.

Day 21- I stayed in with my 8 year old daughter and painted and did crafts, watched movies, made soup and home made pizza. She loved it. My gift was to Parker Faith - our special mommy daughter snow time.
Day 22 - My gift today was calling my 91 year old grandmother and just checking on her because of the bad weather. She lives 2 hours from me and just wanted her to know I was thinking of her.
Day 23- (Monday) No school so I took my daughters to the movies and to lunch. We did more crafts.
Day 24 - No school and I sent a card to a friend to say "I love you". I also took my friends girls (2 of them) and had them spend the night with my daughter. They made crafts and watched movies.
Day 25 - I took the kids to Chuck E Cheese - NEED I SAY MORE???
Day 26 - The kids were back in school - YIPEE! I gave a special birthday gift to a friend.
Day 27 - No school - sooooo, I took my 17 year old to a movie and spent the day with her. I then spent time with both daughters.

It has been a week of movies, eating , game playing. We are ready for some sunshine!
