" The Perfect Gift " Day 1

As I worked from home yesterday trying to catch up on my emails and mail I received while being out of town for over a week I thought what and who can I give to today? Who can I make an impact on by even just a small gesture? Just as I thought of this the fella that does my lawn arrived. He used to ride a bike to my house and the neighbors and now he has his own Van. Not a very pretty one but at least its transportation. He's a hard worker and very respectful. He always under cut on price as he needed money and just wanted to work. When he came to collect I gave him an extra $5.00 although it wasn't much you should have seen the expression on his face! : ) He was so grateful. I told him I just started 29 days and 29 gifts. That spurred on another 5 minute conversation of he believing that when you give you get back ten fold. He said in shyness to me that as of last week he actually started to pray to God for help and Guidance. Then he said for the first time in just about forever I decided to go to church and he took his neice and nephew that he was watching for his sister. They are 8 and 11. He told me he was so amazed because what he was praying for the Pastor's Sermon was on that exact subject! Listening to him was a gift back to me as my heart was just so filled with adoration and so I invited him to join us this Sunday as well.

Gifts, " The Perfect Gift" One never knows that just something small can make a huge Impact!

My Mom now lives with me. She is 86. I moved her from Michigan over a year ago as she was slipping into Dimensia and still with it enough not to put her into a home. For the last 4 months I had put her on a natural product that I was able to take her off her meds. She has made an incredible turn around. Since I had been gone I figured I would take her to get her favorite Fish sandwich from Mc Donalds and a Moca...: )) As we pulled around something came over me to pay it forward. I asked the gal how much the order was for the car behind me? She said do you know them? I said NO its all about 29 days and 29 Gifts! She looked at me and smiled and took the money. As I drove to the next window to pick up our order I noticed the car behind me was an elderly couple and they looked like they were taking down my license plate like I was crazy person paying for their order. LOL Then they honked and I just waved.....and drove off. I can only imagine how they felt and what went through their mind in this crazy selfish world. But what I do know is how great I felt to make someone else day........ Off to Bay Park I went with MOM.

We sat by the water, ate our lunch and talked for two hours.... Gift Three ( Spending Time with Those we Love)

Last Night as I reflected over the course of the Day was more a Gift to me as I was so thankful to beable to contribute to others without expecting anything in return. " The Perfect Gift " God Bless
