Today's Glamour magazines giving ideas.
1. Knit. Send squares to warmupamerica.org. They will be made into afghans and given to battered-women's shelters.
2. Stock a refrigerator. Just $1.00 to feedingamerica.org will provide nine pounds of groceries to a hungry family in the U.S.

Veterans Day
A small (rather large, actually) fact: - As of 2008 there were 23.2 million living US veterans

How many of these men and women do YOU know?

I reached out to 3 Vets today: A coworker who I think the world of. My amazing son who served in the AirForce. And a very dear friend who still serves and works for the government in a different capacity full time, yet still working to keep our country safe.

This nation will remain the land of the free only so long as it is the home of the brave!!
