29-Day Giving Challenge

That's what happens when you get a sinus infection. I was laid up for 3 days and didn't feel like staring at the computer for even longer. My eye just kept watering even after I was improved!

Needless to say, during that time most of my gifts were to myself....getting the needed rest and taking my antibiotics so I'd get well. Thanks to the wonder of modern pharmaceuticals, though, I'm MUCH better now.

Some of the gifts I did manage to give during the last 9 days were donations to a couple of homeless/out-of-work folks here in Taos, cookies for my husband (the day before I was stricken with the bug), phone calls to a couple of long distance friends, and a donation to Race MD...which was started by the niece of my best friend to help raise money for Muscular Dystrophy research. Her only son, who is 4 years old, has the worst kind of MD, so I was thrilled to be able to donate to their cause. I also managed to click on some of the online free donations (the Hunger Site, etc.).

Now that I'm well again, I plan on seeking even more oportunities to give every single day.
