29-Day Giving Challenge

In an effort to "police" myself (discipline I s'pose) to get back on track with work and start learning, I decided to map out a schedule for myself, similar to one that Stephanie has at her school with the whole day structured and planned. 7-7:30 AM- exercise. 7:30-8:30 shower and breakfast. 8:30-9 email and Social Media. 9-11:30 biz development/client work, etc. I plan to use this beginning on Monday, since I still have loose ends to clean up and on Friday I will be out all day. Even though I need self-care and a re-fill of my empty glass, this will help me get focused and feel more productive. Work and my career are a huge part of who I am.

Anyway...Wednesday Gives:

1- When I went to get coffee this morning, I left a few pennies of the change I got on the counter for someone who may come in and be short a penny or two.

2- I was in the grocery store today and saw a new book that my husband Andrew would like. I bought it for him. He'll have some downtime this weekend to read. He was VERY happy when he saw it on the kitchen table. I also got him some Gumbo at the soup counter. He loved it.

3- My friend and mentor Carol, who told me about "29 Gifts", called me today to check up on me and the latest on Stephanie. Her new book is due out in April and she sent me the first part, and asked if I would read it and write a testimonial for it. I took the time to read it tonight, and emailed her back with my compliments and testimonial. I was afraid if I waited too long, it would slip thru the cracks.

4- I spoke to my sister and arranged to pick up a picture at her house tomorrow that needs to be reframed--I ordered the frame 2 weeks ago and it's in. I'll get this done tomorrow, and surprise her by paying for it.

Sleep tonight???who knows!
