Twelfth Day

As I was driving home I saw a high school student I didn't know get off the school bus just has the heavens opened and a deluge started. He pulled his hoodie over his head and started trudging toward our neighborhood. I pulled up and asked if he'd like a ride and after a second he got in. It turned out he had to walk about half a mile from the bus stop to his house, and he would have been soaked to the skin so I'm glad I stopped.
