Veteran's Day (Day 4 for me)

What a great day! Not hard to give on Veteran's Day. Started off with thanking my husband, a Vietnam Vet. Gave him a cute card and signed the dog's name too. Coincidentally, another friend's birthday over the weekend. She just turned 85, looks 65 and is so cute and adorable. I have to hug her everytime I see her! Anyway, we were all out at Panera after knitting, so I snuck up to the register and paid for her lunch! She was so surprized and had a huge grin on her face! At 85, I think they should throw you a parade but we settled on lunch today.
Also, the local Applebee's had a meal for the Vet's which my husband and I attended with a surprize visitor too. I thanked the restaurant manager for all they have done today for the veterans. Nice Job!
