i was at the laundromat today doing our laundry like i usually do on Sunday mornings. we have two laundromats in town, both owned by the same people. neither are in very good shape - about half the machines are broken and i don't think they're cleaned more than twice a year, if that. but the next nearest laundry is 30 miles away, so we're kind of stuck. we all do a lot of complaining about it, though.
so anyway, i was doing my laundry and thinking how nasty everything was when it occurred to me how negative i was being. so i got up and got a rag and some soapy water and washed off every machine in the place. it may not last long but it'll make things a lot more pleasant for everyone for a while and plus i got a little exercise into the bargain. now that's what i call a win-win :o)

I agree, Dawn! It is a winning situation all around. I'll bet the machines sparkled!
