29-Day Giving Challenge

I've remembered to give, just not to blog! Wednesday's give was working on a friend's head/neck to relieve a migraine - after which he felt better and was able to sleep the rest off. Thursday I worked on a couple of my football boys to relieve spasms before game day, and Friday as usual i worked on several before the game - as i tell them, it's more effective and easier to loosen them up beforehand than try to fix it during the game! also i did my weekly shopping/library run and made it a point to thank a couple of clerks who made an extra effort for me, and picked up some salt-free stuff for my young friend who has blood pressure issues and is on a very limited sodium diet - hard when you're 18 and really active! Also made & donated tea and lemonade for the after-prom's tailgate supper before the game [they're "my boys" too, and as i tell their folks, it's cheaper to donate than it is to raise my own kids, lol !] Saturday i made 10 gal of tea to give to our Community Bettement for a dinner on Sunday, and Sunday I took a batch of groceries to church for our monthly food drive for the local food pantry. [Maybe i should mention that i detest instant tea and make my own 'blend' so i always have tea on hand, and am happy to share - most folks prefer brewed tea but don't like to take the trouble to make a lot of it.] Today i took a lost trailer license plate home to the guy who'd lost it on our road - 2 years still on it, not a terribly expensive loss but a dratted nuisance just the same. Luckily i live in the country on a less-traveled road and pretty well knew who'd gone by w/ a trailer! Will try to be more regular w/ my blogging - hugs & blessings to you all! laughter

You sure have been busy with your giving. I really can see that the team are your boys. There is a real sense of community with your gives.
