29-Day Giving Challenge

Just after I parked my car today at the grocery market (there seems to be a running theme with me and groceries, don't know what that's all about....), I noticed a man who had just unloaded his bags and was getting ready to wheel his cart back when I offered to take it for him. He was so surprised as that NEVER happens at this particular store. The funny thing is on the way back to my car a woman did the same thing to me and offered to bring my cart back!

After unloading my cart the other day at Henry's, I asked a girl who was swiftly walking towards the store if she'd like to use my cart. She hurriedly said "no thanks," then paused and walked back to me saying, "Oh yes, I really could use the cart, thanks." I wonder if she changed her mind because she felt bad about not taking the cart away as a favor to me, or if she really did need the cart. Regardless of her intentions, it felt good to offer it to her and I'm sure it felt good for her to take the cart away from me after first refusing to do so.
