While I haven't been very diligent in my blogging I've certainly been busy incorporating giving (and recieving) into my life where ever, and when ever possible.

Some of the highlights have been:
Helping a dear friend with physical disabilities find a way to keep her dogs. She was unable to provide them with an adequate exercise routine to tame their restlessness so we began taking them together to a leash free park in our city. What a gift it has been for us both.

We look forward to sharing our time at the park enjoying the dogs and other dog owners. It has become a treasured routine for us all. Watching the dogs run and play while we rest has been refueling, uplifting and fun.

I continue to volunteer at the local MS Society providing an optimistic face for those newly diagnosed with this disease. I assist with programming, and a quarterly newsletter as well.

Also, my work with "Young Carers" continues. I reach out to families who include youth who provide care to a relative with a disability. Knowing, seeing, and befriending these incredible young people has been very rewarding.

Tonight my daughter has invited a friend to stay with us. She is feeling lost, and alone. I hope that in a short time she will feel less alone and her resilient spirit will carry her once again. If only she saw her potential as clearly as it appears to me.

I have been working hard to be a good example for my children. I am working on establishing solid routines for us all. I will try to be more diligent in keeping a record here of my experiences. :)

You're an inspiration in doing so much to reach out to people. It's not working hard to be a good example, you live it.
