29-Day Giving Challenge

I have a part time job that serves to keep the wolves at bay when our home businesses are not doing well. My job is to answer phones for a cell phone company and I am privileged in the fact that I can choose my own hours and work from my home. And it is honestly not a hard job. But seriously, I would rather be doing 100's of other things besides answering back to back phone calls for a company I don’t own and have no interest in.

Carving wood, selling carvings, writing, spending time with my husband and son... the list goes on...
This past week I worked a full time week for the first time in months because quite honestly we have not made enough to pay the bills at either of our home businesses.

So my give for the week has been to work this job for 8 hours every day. And next week too for that matter…

I also gave my son the month of December off of school. Hopefully things will pickup soon and I can cut back to my normal 15 hours per week which is the minimum.

That is a good thing to have a back up when things get slow and the bills need paid. We are in that boat, too and it is scary. I'll say a prayer for your finances to flourish as I hope ours will as well. Blessings! Effie
