Wow! it's been a while

Hi All,

I have been wanting to sit down and write for a while, but I have been incredibly busy. I have been helping 2 new friends of mine run for school committee in or town. The election was this past Saturday-and they won!!! There were 4 candidates for 2 spots. It was so great to meet new people and work together to make it happen. Lots of forums to attend, emails & cards to send, and phone calls to make-more than 260 in 8 hours. But it was well worth it.

In the meantime, I have also started taking a Photoshop class 1x/week-something for me. I've paid for coffees for customers behind me in line, given extra tips to servers, offered rides to elderly friends, thanked and complimented teachers and guidance counselors for their efforts in the schools, helped a friend's son make a job connection, sent birthday e-cards via Hallmark and songs via Facebook, donated food to the Athletic Boosters, and a fruit arrangement for the high school baseball reception. So overall, even though I have not been able to take the time to write, I have tried to consciously offer at least one gift every day.

Oh, and the other gift to myself is that I have rejoined Weight Watchers by going to weekly meetings and more closely following the plan. It's working so far. Now if it would stop raining, I could go jogging.

Today is Day 26 of Round 3 by the way. Goin' for 4.
