Thought this would be an appropriate place to show this video as it gives me much inspiration.
The children featured in this video are in the poorest areas of Kenya and yet they are happy, vibrant, thrilled to perform just like any other children anywhere around the world.
This footage was taken on like a $10 camera and was assembled into a video by someone who had no idea how to edit, me... I had footage of only about 15 words spoken (my original footage was stolen when robbed) so the majority of what I had to work with was a 35 minute dance these beautiful children put on for me. Was quite a task to find a way to make something (somewhat) watchable with no real footage to use. So, I chose a song and went for it. The inspiration of the children I am sure is what made me make sure I could find a way to make it work (and learn how to cut).
Thankful for the things inspiration can help us do.
